INTRODUCING THE NEW KURONO 青磁:SEIJI

The new KURONO 青磁:SEIJI is a limited 500-piece release in a celadon-like blue-green lacquer dial finish in KURONO’s iconic 37mm case. Positioned for female collectors, KURONO 青磁:SEIJI is a conscious effort to increase the diversity of KURONO collectors. 50% of allocations will be reserved for KURONO Contributors and existing customers. 50% of allocations will be for public sale.

There will no longer be a need for a nomination process as previously announced, and will accept expressions of interest from all. We would wish to emphasize that our intentions are to welcome more female collectors into the KURONO family. It is our hope that SEIJI will largely be bought by, or bought for, and go towards female collectors.

The new KURONO 青磁:SEIJI represents only the second time we are launching a solid lacquer dial watch. SEIJI is finished in a celadon-like bluish green finish - a color that wasn't just chosen from color swatches, but literally mixed by hand by master watchmaker Hajime Asaoka himself in his atelier in late 2020. Specifically paired with a white calf leather strap, SEIJI takes a fresher, more youthful and slightly edgier outlook than any of our previous offerings.

KURONO is an extension of sensei's desire to make his designs a lot more accessible, and it is to that end that we hope that KURONO 青磁:SEIJI will allow us to increase the diversity of voices in the KURONO collector community.

SEIJI is limited to 500 pieces, with fulfilment in October for 388 pieces, and January for 112 pieces.

a. Warranty or service claims within the first six months of receiving SEIJI by anyone other than the original buyer on record will be rejected

b. Warranty for any SEIJI discovered on the resale market within the first six months will be voided

この度発表する「青磁：SEIJI」は、世界限定500本の新作モデルです。その特徴は、ラッカー仕上げによる陶磁器の肌のようなテクスチャーと美しい水色が融合した文字盤にあります。これは当初、浅岡が時計愛好家の女性のために作ったモデルでしたが、大変多くの反響があったため、世界限定500本の割り当て内容を以下の通り変更いたしました。

最初の250本はKURONOが承認したコントリビューター（ブランドアンバサダー）の方々、及びKURONOの時計を既にご購入された履歴がある方を対象にいたします。そして残りの250本は一般販売となります。以前発表いたしました女性の方のみ可能であった事前登録は不要となり、どなたでもご購入のお申込みをしていただけます。

Finalizing and paying for your order will mean that you understand and accept that you forfeit the right to cancellations and refunds for any reason whatsoever, even in the pre-order stage. As this is a limited edition item that is in high demand, this policy allows us to prevent hoarding/fraud and ensures that the product reaches the wrists of real buyers and fans. Any cancellations will be subject to a restocking fee of 17.65% of the watch’s MSRP to cater to card transaction and platform costs. The extra will be donated to our selected children’s charity of the season.

What do you mean by an existing customer? - ご購入履歴のある方とはどのような人ですか？

An existing customer is anyone who previously has directly purchased a watch or accessory from www.kuronotokyo.com before 22nd August 2021. KURONO owners who have purchased on resale or grey markets will not qualify.

All warranty and service claims within the first six months of receiving SEIJI must be made through the original purchaser, otherwise it will be denied.

初期不良や保証期間内の修理のご依頼は、商品到着後6ヶ月以内に、商品をご購入された方を通じて行なってください。

Why can the KURONO 青磁:SEIJI be delivered earlier than Toki, although it was launched later? - 今回の「青磁：SEIJI」は「朱鷺：TOKI」より後にも発売されたにも関わらず、発送が先になる場合があるのはなぜですか？

KURONO 青磁: SEIJI was planned for production around the same time as Toki, with dial finalization in late 2020. SEIJI production completed around the same time as the first batch of Toki. However as Toki is time limited, production of Toki is extended past the first batch.

「青磁：SEIJI」と「朱鷺：TOKI」は同時期に製造が開始されました。しかし、「朱鷺：TOKI」は多くの皆さまへKURONOの時計をお届けしたいという浅岡の希望もあり、アニバーサリーウォッチとして発売本数を限定せずに販売いたしました。その結果、予想を上回るご注文をいただき、現在も追加分を製造しているため、お届けするのに時間がかかっております。多くの方へ最高品質の時計をお届けするため日々製造に励んでおりますので、ご理解のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

Will I be able to request a change in watch strap? - ストラップの交換をお願いできますか？

No, the standard strap provided with KURONO SEIJI will be in white leather.

Will changes of addresses be allowed? - 受取住所は変更できますか？

Due to the very short lead times between allocation and delivery, changes of addresses will not be allowed. Successful customers are advised to enter an accurate shipping address at the invoice finalization stage. Any changes after the fact may result in cancellation of your order and reallocation of your SEIJI to another customer.
